FAQ

Questions people ask before they send

Anonymity, delivery, moderation, payment and safety — answered plainly.

Is the message really anonymous?

Yes — to the recipient. Your name, email address and phone number are never shown, never included in the email headers and never guessable from the message page. Unless you explicitly choose to reveal your name after delivery, they only see the words you wrote.

Can the recipient trace the message back to me?

No. Messages are delivered from our own sending infrastructure, not from your address, so there is nothing in the email or SMS that points to you. The link they open is a random token that carries no sender information.

Do you keep records of who sent what?

Yes. Anonymous to the recipient is not the same as untraceable. We retain order records for safety, fraud prevention and legal compliance, and we act on abuse reports. That accountability is exactly what keeps the platform usable.

What kinds of messages are not allowed?

Threats, harassment, sexual content involving minors, doxxing, blackmail, scams and anything illegal. Every message goes through automated moderation and, where needed, a human review before delivery. Rejected messages are not delivered and are refunded.

How is the message delivered?

Choose email, SMS or a private link you share yourself. Email and SMS go out through our verified sending domain and network. A private link is a one-off URL you can drop anywhere — the message only unlocks on that page.

Will they know I paid for it?

No. Payment happens entirely on your side of the platform. There is no receipt, price or order reference in anything the recipient sees.

How does payment work?

You pay per message, priced by message type, delivery channel and any add-ons such as scheduled delivery. The total is shown before you confirm — there is no subscription and no stored balance.

What if the message is not delivered?

If delivery fails after our retries, the order is marked failed and a refund request is opened automatically. You can also request a refund yourself from your dashboard.

Can I schedule a message?

Yes. Add scheduled delivery and pick the exact date and time it should land. You can see the scheduled time in your dashboard until it sends.

Can the recipient reply?

Only if you allow replies when composing. Replies come back anonymously too — the recipient never learns who you are, and you never learn their contact details beyond what you already entered.

How do I stop receiving anonymous messages?

Every message page and notification email includes a block option. Blocking adds your address or number to our suppression list and stops all future anonymous-message notifications to it.

How do I report a message?

Use the Report link on the message page or in the notification email. Reports go straight to the moderation queue and are reviewed by a human.
